an industrial solvent used primarily for vapor degreasing and cold
cleaning. It is an extraction solvent for greases, oils, fats, waxes, and

cause various health effects such as headaches, vertigo, visual
disturbance, tremors, and dizziness. Death may occur from inhalation of
large amounts. People located near or downwind of sites where TCE may be
in operation might be exposed to higher levels. It is a carcinogen.
