Shouldered. A particular and artistic placement of the
shoulders, head, and body as a dancer turns a little towards or away from the
audience; a term used in ballet to describe one of three positions: croisé,
écarté, effacé.
["shouldering"]. Rotation of the shoulders and head (relative to the hips) to
add beauty or expressiveness to a pose, step, or movement.
