Step of the horse; a movement
that can be done on the floor or as a jump, and at 45°, 90° or 120°.
["step of the horse"]. Starting with the working leg in pointe tendu, draw it
along the floor back to the supporting leg; then, without pausing, move it up to
cou-de-pied and back out to pointe tendu in a small developpé. The step
resembles the pawing of a horse.
