The Food, Agriculture, Trade and Conservation Act (1990), also known as the 1990 Farm Bill, contained important changes in the areas of food safety, nutrition information, environmental concerns and an overall research agenda. In addition, there were changes in the way crop subsidies are administered. The goal was to decrease the overall cost of agricultural programs. |
