Kaspar F. Wolff (1733-1794)

Wolff, a German physiologist, disproved Bonnet’s preformation theory by demonstrating that new embryonic structures develop where none had existed before. He stated that the particles that constitute all animal organs in their earliest inception are microscopic globules.
